Meet America's Learning Leaders

Bersin & Associates Honors 14 Corporations for Learning Leadership

What does Digitas and Caterpillar, Inc. have in common? While they vary widely in size and industry sector, they both have demonstrated innovation and excellence in corporate learning. They are among America's 14 Learning Leaders for 2006.

"In our many years of research and consulting work, we've seen countless examples of outstanding learning strategies from all types of oraganizations," said Josh Bersin, president of Bersin & Associates. "In 2005, we decided to create a formal, research-based program to recognize learning excellence and share the winning case studies and best practices with the broad community. Additionally, we wanted a way to highlight achievements in areas not typically recognized-- such as multi-functional initiatives and organizational and management strategies."

Learning Executives Honor 25 Companies & 42 Products for Excellence

Which vendors are best in class? What do buyers really think? Which providers best solve the users' key business problems?

More than 500 executives cast votes for the Best of Elearning! for 2006 and named 42 solutions. From Best LMS to Best Simulation Solution, these companies ranked as the leaders in their class.

"The Best of Elearning! 2006 program is the exclusive readers choice awards in the market," reported Catherine Upton, Publisher of Elearning! Magazine. "Appoximately 49% of buyers report that they rely on peer and word-of-mouth for product information, so it made sense for us to host a formal program sharing the truth about what works, and why," she concluded.

Of the 42 products, seven repeated honors for the Best of Elearning! in 2006.
